CRICKET AND WORLDCUP

As i started writing the poem

And going on thinking what to write?

I just remembered the current news

That is about Cricket!

The Cricket is a game which started

In a street Boys play

In the name of the country called England

It went on and on…..

Now the cricket has reached the stage

As that it is not only for the particular country

But the play is for the whole world.

Whomever if you ask about Cricket,

They’ll never say or question you; What is Cricket?

Now it’s the fight between the countries

Which can be never seen before or in History.

In the History the nations were fighting

For the protection of their countries

But this fight is for the World Cup.

Everywhere the news is World Cup, cricket

Names of cricketers are heard.

This is so popular than our film stars.

And when the match starts

Batsman hitting the Ball with all his force

And the Bowler hitting the wickets

There is a cheering environment all over the field.

The commentators commenting on…..

And suddenly at the end of the match

there is silence like how it is after a Bomb blast.

This situation what I’m speaking

Is nothing about our 20-20 world cup

As you all can remember that situation

And we all are praying for that

World Cup now also for God.

We wish India will get that

Again with the cheerful winning.

And we have the self-confidence

On the god and our captain too…..

So we all together shout and say India

Is the world’s best Cricket Team…..!!!
