“Teacher’s day is a tribute to the hard work & devotion of the
teacher during all years spent in educating the children & helping them
build their career with the quest to see an educated & developed nation.”
Since times immemorial,
Indians have respected and idolized their teachers as God. Earlier, we used to
call our teachers ‘Guru’ and now instead we respect as ‘Sir’ or ‘Madam’.
Nevertheless, the role of teachers has remained the same. They were, are and
will continue to be our guide & sole responsible for the overall
development of our career & behavior in their personal life; it’s an
extreme respect or an expression toward their hard work in helping us build our
career that we celebrate Teacher’s Day in India.
In India, Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th of September
every year. Indian Teacher’s Day is dedicated to Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan,
who was an enthusiastic advocate of education and one of the greatest scholars
and teachers of all times, apart from being the first Vice President and the
second President of India. As a mark of respect to this phenomenal teacher, his
birthday came to be observed as Teacher’s Day in the country.
On this day it’s important to remember that every student’s
relationship with his/her teacher can influence in their academic success,
Teachers are those who respect our ideas and thoughts & make us build our
career growth, we should be grateful to their shared wisdoms with us, a good
teacher is always like a candle which light the way you move in your life, they
become something who is very special, for every steps we take we just remember
what our teachers said, which step is appropriate if our teacher would be here,
what would be his or her steps, that the importance of teachers teaching.
On this day I feel that every student have forgotten the moral values
of a teacher, they have forgotten how important you are, your dedication,
passion in building our career and behavior, it’s time for a reminder for those
students who have started thinking that they have become smart enough & who
feel that they are not in need of a teacher, it’s time to remember their hard
work who encouraged, motivated, challenged, inspired & made you know better
about the world & world started recognizing you, wherever you reach in your
life, your teacher will always be a teacher forever even if you reach the moon.
When you are a kid, she is the one who takes out the hidden talent of yours,
& make a perfect blend of strengthening you by modeling herself in a good
character, and respect for one another to focus on their strength more than
their weakness, she gives you the freedom to make your decision of your own to
become more responsible so that you can stand on your own.
I thank my teacher for giving me to write an article about teachers.
I am glad that I got this golden opportunity of writing about the
values of teacher & remember my school days today.
On this day I request all to start respecting teacher values who have
forgotten to respect.
